Housatonic Community College is currently seeking applicants interested in the Health Career Academy (HCA) Contextualized Learning Continuing Education Assistant position in the Continuing and Professional Education department.
This is a full-time, temporary, grant-funded, non-tenure track position.
Anticipated Start Date: May 2017

Salary: $53,774.00 approximate annual salary, with full benefits package.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in allied health, human services or field closely related field and one to four years of related experience. The successful candidate will have demonstrated knowledge and abilities in the following areas:

Responsibilities: Under the supervision of the Associate Dean of Continuing and Professional Education the HCA Contextualized Learning Continuing Education Assistant will focus their time exclusively on the participants of The WorkPlace, Inc. initiative. The incumbent will be responsible for implementing the advising program in order to improve students’ abilities to successfully achieve their educational goals through effective performance in the following functional areas:
The incumbent is required to attend and participate at convocation and commencement ceremonies, department and special meetings, and state-mandated trainings, which may include evening and weekend hours.
